Eligibility:

Existential therapists listed in the directory are all SEA members. They must also be one of the following:

1. Member of United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) - National Register of Psychotherapists.

3. Chartered Counselling / Clinical Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS).

4. Accredited Counsellor or Psychotherapist with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

5. Counsellors and Psychotherapists that are ‘fully Qualified - but awaiting formal registration’ must provide evidence that they are in the process of registering with one of the above organizations. Practitioners in this category will be signified by an asterisk* after their names.

6. All Members, including International Members with alternative professional organisations, will need to provide evidence of the following:

A) Membership of a Professional Regulating Organisation.

B) A Certificate of Professional Liability Insurance.

C) Confirm that there are no outstanding or current procedures in relation to your fitness to practice.

NB: All practitioners listed are required to adhere

to the Codes of Ethics, Practice and Complaints Procedures

and are responsible to the organizations that accredit them.

How to be included in the list:

Existential therapists wishing to be listed in the directory should e-mail us with their contact details and confirmation of current SEA membership and relevant qualification, registration or accreditation information as stated above:
