This workshop is an opportunity for psychotherapists to reflect on their work in terms of the bodymind dynamic between themselves and their clients.
The field of counselling and psychotherapy has traditionally had a bias towards verbal
interaction and language, the reflective and symbolizing mind, thinking and philosophizing.
We have accumulated a lot of expertise in bringing these capacities of the mind
to bear on our therapeutic work. But many of the patterns in which our clients feel
most trapped are rooted in implicit memory, in preverbal or pre-
